The invitation details can be sent to the visitor’s email in advance. This way, the visitor can receive the relevant information and means of entry before arriving, and the organization can prepare the permission ahead of time instead of handling it only when the visitor is already at the entrance.
A permission that fits the visit
Not every visitor needs the same access. A guest arriving for a meeting, a technician arriving to carry out work, and a contractor who is on site for several days may need different doors and different entry times.
For each visitor, you can define where they are allowed to enter and when, and limit the permission to the period of the visit. This way, the visitor gets the access they need, without being granted a permanent permission or access to areas that are not relevant to them.
QR and additional means of identification
The visitor can receive a QR code in advance to serve as their means of identification at the entrance. The QR can be sent before the visit, so the visitor arrives with their means of entry ready to use.
Depending on the configuration of the access control system and the readers installed on site, additional means of identification can be combined as well. This lets the organization tailor the way people enter to the type of visitor and the way the site works.
When plans change
A meeting was postponed, a visit ran long, or a contractor finished the work earlier than expected? The permission does not have to stay as it was defined at the start of the process.
Access times can be updated or a permission cancelled as needed, so managing the visitor stays flexible even after the invitation has already been created.
